In Villarcayo, the capital of the region of Las Merindades in the north of Burgos, Spain, they are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their team, Nela C.F., in federated football.
And they have presented the two new kits with the sponsorship of the Komtes Group, which has been supporting this club for years, to which it feels very close and in whose town is located one of the factories of the Group (the manual protection, fire and smoke control in Villarcayo in an area of 15,000 m2).
Villarcayo Nela CF plays in the First Regional Division of Castilla y León, has more than 600 members and has nine federated teams, including the subsidiary and the lower categories, ranging from pre-benjamins to juveniles.
In addition to celebrating the 50th anniversary, the second kit is a tribute to Luis Suárez, former FC Barcelona player and the only Spaniard to win the Ballon d'Or trophy in 1960.
Suárez even played a match in 1973 with Nela C.F. against Burgos, and he did so wearing the second shirt that corresponded to the youth team and in colours other than blue and white, the team's usual colours.
