The company Koneba, of the Komtes Group, has collaborated in the engineering project that will be responsible for the protection of the new Jorge Chávez terminal at Lima airport (Peru); specifically with the development of the control and extraction system for smoke and toxic gases in the event of fire.
The construction and implementation process of the new passenger terminal at this international airport has reached 52% of the work progress and the new extension will be operational in early 2025, making the Peruvian airport one of the most competitive by offering a greater number of destinations to fly to.
Its design is inspired by the Nazca culture and has sustainable implementations, being the first in South America to have seismic isolation.
