From September 2nd to 4th, Grupo Komtes organized a high-level in-person training at our newly inaugurated facilities in Colina, Santiago, Chile. This training, aimed at engineering companies and fire suppression system specialists, was designed to provide a deep and technical insight into the most advanced suppression systems on the market, with a focus on several key areas of great importance to the industry.
The training program covered fundamental topics such as the calculation and design of clean agent fire suppression systems, one of the most demanded systems in the industry due to its high efficiency and low environmental impact. The design and installation of kitchen fire suppression systems were also covered, a crucial area for protecting commercial and industrial facilities that require specialized solutions.
Among the advanced topics, the training delved into CO2 fire suppression systems, used in high-risk installations, and the innovative SIEX TRACE DLP localized suppression systems, known for their precision in protecting critical areas, providing a fast and effective response to fires.
With nearly 100 participants and the presence of 30 leading companies in the sector, the event was a meeting point for professionals interested in enhancing their knowledge in the calculation, design, and maintenance of next-generation fire suppression systems. The active participation and high level of commitment from attendees contributed to creating a rich and collaborative environment.
The training was led by Noelia Zarzosa Tartilán, Product Manager at Siex within Grupo Komtes, who is renowned for her extensive experience in the fire protection industry. Noelia conducted a series of comprehensive training sessions that addressed not only the technical and regulatory aspects of fire suppression systems but also their practical application in various industrial environments. The attendees praised Noelia’s clarity and precision in presenting complex concepts, which enabled greater understanding and absorption of the material.
In addition to the technical training, the event marked a special milestone for the company, as it was held in the newly opened SIEX branch facilities in Chile, which include a recharge station and warehouses. These facilities represent a significant step forward in Grupo Komtes’ expansion in Latin America, reaffirming its commitment to the local market and providing greater access to innovative fire suppression solutions. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, this space becomes a strategic center for meeting the needs of companies in the region.
